What's your dream vacation?
Mine varies, depending on my mood. Just now I'm planning a trip for a mega birthday, and I'm thinking an African safari in either Kenya or Tanzania.

My "Happy Place" is on the promenade deck of a cruise ship with a good book in hand and no children within earshot, but my dream vacation would have to be a return to the beach in Tulum, Mexico. 95% of the tourists seem to go there just to walk around and see the ruins, but there's a gorgeous cliffside beach where you can backfloat in the water and stare up at the ruins.
I saw you just visited Tobago, good spot! A friend of mine has a house overlooking the reef there and I have been pleased to visit it several times in the last few years. The beauty and charm of this place is heightened when with a local (as with everywhere you travel), and Tobago has so many tiny local details and eccentricies that are always fun to go back to and explore.

If you are looking for a dream vacation, I suggest you Marrakech and the hotel where I staid: Dar Darma. It is an ancient palace in the heart of the Medina with only 3 suites, where you can live a Thousand Nights and One Night experience!
